About Impulse Development
The internet is still relatively new and is changing every day. The online world can be an intimidating place, especially if you don't even have a website. Impulse Development specializes in creating new websites and improving pre-existing websites. Plain and simple.
Our philosophy can be summed up in three words: "less is more." We try to avoid the things that get in the way of quickly delivering a high-quality product to our clients. By simplifying the web development process, we produce projects faster and at a lower cost than our competitors. Great websites do not need cost an arm and a leg. Really!
Work with us and you'll quickly find out what sets Impulse Development apart from the competition.
Brandon Silverstein, Owner
Ever since his parents (Hy & Marilyn) bought him an Apple IIgs when he was five years old, Brandon has been interested in computers and technology. When he received his computer, Brandon thought the mouse and hard drive were the two coolest things ever. As technology progressed, Brandon used great programs like CorelDRAW 5, Bitstream Makeup, and Print Shop Pro to produce creative documents that received rave reviews from his mom and dad.
When the internet got started, Brandon took a keen interest and built his first website dedicated to the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) men's basketball team. The website featured a white and orange checkered background. For some strange reason, the checkered background went out of style. However, the site was easy to find and received great response from UTEP alumni all over the world. Brandon knew he had a future in web development.
Brandon attended UCLA for two years and received his computer science degree from UTEP in December 2004. In January 2005, Brandon returned to the web development world and worked for a local web development company as a designer and programmer. In September 2006, he left his previous employer and founded his own web development company, Impulse Development.
